Tactical Functional Training offers a specialized Officer Fitness & Injury Prevention Program that helps law enforcement agencies build sustainable health, resilience, and tactical readiness from within. Their training philosophy emphasizes foundational mobility, corrective work, and “tactical explosiveness”, integrating endurance, strength, and functional movement in a way that mirrors the real physical demands of policing. TFT’s approach is not just about pushing harder; it’s about smart, strategic programming that keeps officers healthy, mentally sharp, and operationally ready over the long haul.

Texas Blue Chip Program

Texas Blue Chip Program

Texas Blue Chip Program: Launched in August 2023 through a collaboration between the Meadows Mental Health Policy Institute, the Texas Law Enforcement Peer Network (TLEPN), and philanthropic support from the Communities Foundation of Texas, this innovative initiative provides first responders, beginning with law enforcement officers but expanding to all emergency personnel during crises, an anonymous, stigma-free path to mental health care. Officers access counseling by presenting a specially designed physical poker chip (or a digital version via TLEPN’s mobile app) which serves as a prepaid voucher for confidential clinical services without relying on employer programs, insurance, or peer networks.

Initially launched following the May 2023 mass casualty event in Allen, Texas, the program has since scaled statewide as of June 2024, making Texas the only state offering both a peer support network and anonymous clinical access to care on officers’ terms. This chip-based system tactfully addresses cultural barriers to help-seeking, providing officers with a discreet reminder of available support and facilitating immediate clinical access to trauma-informed care when it’s needed most.

Pine Pastures

Nestled in the peaceful landscape of Enterprise, Alabama, Pine Pastures is more than a wellness center, it’s a place of healing, resilience, and connection. Founded by Marine Corps veteran Devon Sachey, alongside her husband, CSM Devon Weber (a War Horses participant), it reflects a deep commitment to supporting veterans, first responders, and their families.

Set in a quiet, nature-rich environment near Fort Rucker, Pine Pastures offers a space to step away from daily pressures and focus on emotional regulation, trauma recovery, and reconnection. Through a holistic, family-centered approach, licensed professionals and equine specialists work together to provide experiential care that builds trust, supports the nervous system, and strengthens relationships.

From equine-assisted sessions to outdoor wellness experiences, Pine Pastures creates a restorative environment where individuals and families can pause, heal, and move forward with strength.

All Clear Foundation

All Clear Foundation is a national nonprofit focused exclusively on improving the mental health and well-being of first responders and their families. Rather than offering a single program, they serve as a backbone organization for funding, researching, and scaling evidence-informed solutions that address the full spectrum of first responder wellness.

Their work is built around a comprehensive framework that includes mental health care access, peer support, leadership development, family resilience, and stigma reduction. They also provide grants to organizations doing direct work in the field, helping expand access to high-quality support across departments and communities.

What makes All Clear especially valuable is their emphasis on data-driven impact and systems-level change. They partner with agencies, nonprofits, and researchers to identify what actually works and then invest in making those solutions more widely available.
